Guys, medyo matagal ko na po iniisip at pinag-aaralan to, pero di ko pa rin talaga ma-gets. hehe... I dont know if im noob about this mathematical/electronics term na naka-indicate sa mga box ng headphones. Like my AKG K450, the frequency range is 11Hz-29.5khz... Sino po kaya ang pwedeng maging guru natin about this? TIA!

haha tinanong ko rin yan, eto advice sakin:

Quote :
here's a simple exercise, open your favorite media player. pull up its eq window. there should be some frequencies written there. set everything to flat, then play your fave tunes. raise one of the sliders so you can familiarize yourself with that frequency and what it boost. for example itunes/windows media, raise the slider at the far left 32Hz, that would be your low-mid. middle slider 500-1k for mids. far right slider 16khz for your highs. then try out all those in between.

Take into account that every single sub-range is covered by one octave. They are correlated to the 220Hz "A3" note where the lower midrange starts.

15-28Hz: Sub bass or lowest octave
28-55Hz: Low bass
55-110Hz: Mid bass.
110-220Hz: Upper bass.
Up to this point we're speaking of "bass".

220-440Hz: lower midrange
440-880Hz: Pure midrange
880-1760Hz: Upper midrange
These three octaves cover the midrange.

1760-3520Hz: Lower treble
3520-7040Hz: Mid treble
7040-14080Hz: High treble.
14080 to your hearing limits: Top octave, "air" octave or extreme treble.
These last sub-ranges comprise the treble as such.

This definition of the frequency ranges is based on a musical perspective looking at how the tones are assigned to notes in the western tempered notation.

HTH Smile

note that a flat frequency response is not always better, depende pa rin sa type of music na pinapakinggan mo
