JojoD's Pokemon 5 Amp

Curios lang ako. Is this the new version of P4 Headamp? Because its priced at 3.5k. Cant get a proper info on this kasi.

prototype pa lang ata sir, on sale na ba? desktop amp ba o portable?

it's actually an "exercise" sir, it does not replace the P4 Portable/Rechargeable Headamp nor the AC Powered Desktop Headamp...

I was challenged by my wife to design and build a desktop amp and house it inside one of my son's game card tin foils.

So from paper to actual build and the rest was history...

it's already reserved for a doctor from PGH. hopefully he will get it this weekend.

I can accept orders for the Pokemon amp but I'm not sure if my son can still provide the same bluish Pokemon case, though I saw some red background Naruto casings in his collection.

Yup, that is my personal P4 with the sticker which can be bought from those cellphone tiangge/shops...

hahaha na try ko sa speaker ko yung P4 amp ni sir JojoD compare ko sa output ng iPod jack ang layo ng tunog sa LOD w/ P4 amp..panalo..
kunan ko video pag may time share ko..

master JD, have you tried a/b comparo between the p5 and p4? pa-share naman po, thanks

hi sir noldie! naku sir hindi po P5 yun, Pokemon 5 lang yun nakasulat sa tin can hehehe...

it's not fair to a/b test the Pokemon headamp with the P4 because one is ac powered (unlimited voltage/current) while the other is a battery powered portable but for a/b's sake, the Pokemon amp has a lot more drive power because it's a desktop amp, but sonically plus the benefit of being portable, the P4 is still a great headamp to recon with.

looking forward to your Pokemon 5 master JD. hope you find the time to mass produce this. if not, kahit na ung limited edition lang.

between an amplifier connected to an ipod via 3.5mm jack, and an amplifier connected to an ipod via the bottom of the ipod (yung sinasaksakan ng dock).

may difference ba in sound quality?

meron sir, day and night po ang difference for me.

pardon my ignorance. but san po nakakabili nung cable para ikabit yung bottom ng ipod sa ampli?

and may next batch pa po kayo ng amplifiers?

i also build and sell those LOD to mini interconnects using avionics grade silver wires, silver solder, and lumberg plugs which sells for P750 (see pic)

ang dami kasing nagtatanong kung ano yung dala ko palagi sabi ko headphone amp po, kaya ayun naisip ko maglagay ng sticker at name ng headphone amp nito..hehehe

oo nga naman, actually madalas ako masita sa mga malls and sa LRT hehehe... at ang pogi ng result ng sticker mo sir hehehe...
